Top 10 Guards in NBA GM 2014 (Average Player Value 2013/2014)

OTHIS LIST DOES NOT INCLUDE LEGENDS. ALL STATS ARE ROUNDED OFF

#10 - Kyrie Irving (245 Player Value)

Uncle Drew crosses over to the number 10 spot in the list. Said to be the best ball handler in the NBA league today, this fella from Australia can do more than do sick moves in ball handling. He still maintained his stats in terms of assists & steals. Although scoring less than last season, giving his Player Value a -5 (from 250 last season to 245 this season), the fact he's in the list shows that Irving can still put up a thing or two.

His stats this season are:
PPG: 21 pts  - 105 Player Value
RPG: 4 rebounds - 40 Player Value
APG: 6 assists - 60 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 0 blocks - 0 Player Value
---------------------------------------
                         245 Player Value

#9 - Kyle Lowry (250 Player Value)

Coming in at #9, 6'0 ft. and 205 lbs. is Toronto's finest PG this season, Kyle Lowry. After the last 2012-2013 season, Lowry began to work up his stats and boy did he raise the bar. From the 190 Playe Value he had last season, he rocketed up to 250! The value improvement is all thanks to his improved scoring, assists and steals. From an average of 12 PPG, he worked up to 18 PPG! From 6 APG, it became 7 APG and from 1 SPG, he made it 2 SPG! Things are looking well for Lowry. He should maintain that until next season or even bring it higher!

His stats this season are:
PPG: 18 pts - 90 Player Value
RPG: 5 rebounds - 50 Player Value
APG: 7 assists - 70 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 0 blocks - 0 Player Value
----------------------------------------
                          250 Player Value

#8 - Dwyane Wade (255 Player Value)

The Flash makes his way down to the #8 mark in this list. A lot of people have been saying that he hasn't been the same way he was during his days with Big Shaq. That is quite true. That doesn't mean Wade has been proven useless as he still is a much needed person on the team. This was shown when Wade missed the last 5 games, making the Heat's performance rather ridiculous, showing how important he was to the team. D-Wade still makes a lasting impression in all their games, whether through sick dunks or through his signature eurostep, Wade has a lot of energy left and is not going to back down from any fight

His stats this season are:
PPG: 19 pts - 95 Player Value
RPG: 5 rebounds - 50 Player Value
APG: 5 assists - 50 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 1 block - 20 Player Value
----------------------------------------
                         255 Player Value

#7 - Ty Lawson (260 Player Value)

#7 goes to Denver's top PG, Ty Lawson. At 5'11 and 195 lbs, this Point Guard is a pretty decent guy on the court. Known to have won the Bob Cousy award, ACC Basketball Player of the Year and won the Championships at NCAA, I'm 100% sure that Lawson is gonna snag a reward in the league soon. His Player Value increased from 225 last season to a top 10 worthy 260 Player Value.

His stats this season are:
PPG: 18 pts - 90 Player Value
RPG: 4 rebounds - 40 Player Value
APG: 9 assists - 90 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 0 blocks - 0 Player Value
------------------------------------------
                         260 Player Value

#6 - Michael Carter-Williams (265 Player Value)

Look who made it to the top 10! It's our own Rookie of the Year, MCW. In his first game against the Miami Heat, he showed the people in Philly that they had something to be excited for. He recorded 22 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 9 steals in his win over South Beach. Ever since then, he put up stats that showed he was Rookie of the Year deserving. I can tell in the near future, he'll be an all-star, playing alongside the top players.

His stats this season are:
PPG: 17 pts - 85 Player Value
RPG: 6 rebounds - 60 Player Value
APG: 6 assists - 60 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 1 block - 20 Player Value
-----------------------------------------
                      265 Player Value

#5 - James Harden (275 Player Value)

The best SG in the league today makes it to the top 5. The Bearded Athlete has shown serious business this season. From making a good alley-oop duo with Howard to showing powerful left-handed slam dunks. James Harden is a great guard and will continue to be. This man has shown excellence as a shooting guard and his stats prove it.

His stats this season are:
PPG: 25 pts - 125 Player Valye
RPG: 5 rebounds - 50 Player Value
APG: 6 assists - 60 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 0 blocks - 0 Player Value
-------------------------------------------
                         275 Player Value

#4 - Russell Westbrook (280 Player Value)

Ever since Westbrook entered the NBA, his potential has shown more and more and more. He's established himself as not just your everyday point guard. His profile isn't just for that. Attacking the basket, athletic passes to initiate a pick and roll, very impressive jumpshots. No wonder why he was an All-Star 3 times. He's been doing nothing but All-Star moves!

His stats this season are:
PPG: 22 pts - 110 Player Value
RPG: 6 rebounds - 60 Player Value
APG: 7 assists - 70 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 0 blocks - 0 Player Value
------------------------------------------
                         280 Player Value

#3 - John Wall (285 Player Value)

This season's slam dunk winner reaches the top 3 of this list. What he has given the Wizards is a really great ability to pass and the stats show an increase in assists from 8 to 9 assists. He's also a very fast player, even outpacing D-Wade and when he drives, he means business. Explosive in many ways, Wall is certainly a great Guard in the NBA.

His stats this season are:
PPG: 19 pts - 95 Player Value
RPG: 4 rebounds - 40 Player Value
APG: 9 assists - 90 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 1 block - 20 Player Value
------------------------------------------
                        285 Player Value

#2 - Stephen Curry (290 Player Value

The 3 point master of Point Guards is here at #2. He was a scoring leader for the NCAA, became an All-Star for the first time this year, became the SoCon Player of the Year twice and is still making an impact to the Warriors this season. He also has the potential of putting up 40 point games. From last year's 265 Player Value, he increased to 290. Looks like all peaches for Curry today.

His stats this season are:
PPG: 24 pts - 120 Player Value
RPG: 4 rebounds - 40 Player Value
APG: 9 assists - 90 Player Value
SPG: 2 steals - 40 Player Value
BPG: 0 blocks - 0 Player Value
-----------------------------------------
                       290 Player Value

#1 - Chris Paul (305 Player Value)

Here's a few questions for you

Who's the best Point Guard in the league today?
Who earned numerous NBA honors such as 2013 All-Star MVP, 2006 Rookie of the Year, 3x NBA assists leader and 6x steals leader?
Who won 2 Olympic Gold Medals in 2008 & 2012?
Who creates scoring opportunities by changing speeds, pick & roll & penetrating the paint?

There's only one answer: Chris Paul

His stats this season are:
PPG: 19 pts - 95 Player Value
RPG: 4 rebounds - 40 Player Value
APG: 11 assists - 110 Player Value
SPG: 3 steals - 60 Player Value
BPG: 0 blocks - 0 Player Value

Serge Ibaka is on sale!

The OKC have been struggling lately. Why? Well their much needed Power Forward, the Congolese-Spanish "Miracle", Serge Ibaka has been out due to an injury. Because of this, the Spurs have grabbed a 2-0 lead against the Thunder, making their chance of advancing to the finals narrower and narrower. But Ibaka wasn't going to let his team down. In Game 3, he made a triumphant return to the semifinals and with great stats despite the injury, he helped his team get the much needed win against the Spurs to give a 2-1 score.

Ibaka is a great Forward whether in the Playoffs or in the Regular Season. Now, this great man can be on your team at Level 10 & 449 Player Value for 300 coins. Sign him up now!
